It all began when we moved to Spokane in 2009. The landscaping in our new home was boring and not planned out well. We tore it out and started from scratch. Our new neighbors got to know us as the crazy DIY landscapers. With my husband having a busy career and four children, we were determined to design a landscape that we could enjoy that would be as low maintenance as possible.

We built a home in 2016 and DIY’d our second yard as well. There were different considerations in our second yard but our goals remained the same— to design a beautiful yard that was as low maintenance as one acre could be.

With years of experience with A LOT of plants, and what works and does not work in Spokane, I began helping friends and others do the same with their yards. I did not intend to actually start a business— which is why I do not have many photographs. Most of my work has been done before this time when we photograph every step of our everyday lives! I can give you references.

As I’m coming up on empty nesting, I have found that I have the time to dedicate to building my passion and knowledge into a business.

My adult son, Sean, has assisted me on many, many projects and is available for hire if your project requires it or you want to do less (or no) planting on your own!
